Friend, who do you know who is in deep suffering?

MAPS Israel is building the future of mental health - for Israel, and for the world.

01 · The crisis

Millions are suffering. Israel is on the front line.

500K+
Israelis projected to meet PTSD criteria in the coming years.
A multi-front war. Survivors of the Nova massacre. Combat veterans, hostage families, first responders - all within one overburdened system.
1 in 3
Adults worldwide will face a mental health disorder in their lifetime.
Existing treatments work for some patients, some of the time. For too many, genuine healing remains out of reach.

The scale of suffering demands more than what we currently have to offer.

02 · The breakthrough

A generation had to manage their suffering. We are entering an era of treatments that go to the roots.

Rigorous trials have proven the principle - for PTSD, for depression, for conditions that resisted everything else. What remains unexplored is vastly larger. We are at the very beginning.

71%
No longer met PTSD criteria
MDMA-assisted therapy, Phase 3 (MAPP2) - vs. 32% with therapy plus placebo.
Response rate
Psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression.
2023
Australia authorizes
TGA authorization of MDMA- and psilocybin-assisted therapy for clinical use.
FDA Breakthrough
Therapy designation
Granted for both MDMA and psilocybin; 2026 US presidential executive order now accelerating approval pathways.

Healing October 7 - project emblem
05 · Flagship project

Healing October 7.

An open-label, multicenter, randomized, non-inferiority study evaluating group vs. individual MDMA-assisted therapy in PTSD patients following the events of October 7, 2023 - selected and supported by the Rehabilitation Division of Israel's Ministry of Defense.

168
Participants
Currently recruiting: massacre survivors, veterans, Nova attendees, border communities.
5
Partner hospitals
Led by Sheba Tel Hashomer - ranked among the world's top 10 medical centers.
First
Worldwide
Randomized group vs. individual psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Capacity
Group modality: one therapist team, seven patients at once.

If group therapy proves non-inferior, psychedelic-assisted treatment becomes scalable - for every country facing trauma at scale.

06 · The value of your investment

Treat once. Not for life.

Chronic PTSD is expensive - for the person, and for the country. A treatment that resolves it in a defined course, rather than managing it for decades, changes the economics of mental health.

MDMA-assisted therapy

Healing, in one course

12.8×Every $1 spent on treatment is projected to save $12.80 in long-term disability and health-system costs.¹
  • A defined, time-limited treatment course
  • 71% no longer met PTSD criteria (Phase 3)
  • Group delivery: 7× capacity per therapist team
vs. standard of care
  • Daily medication, often indefinitely
  • Weekly therapy, often for years
  • Roughly one in three reaches remission
  • Decades of disability & health-system costs

¹ ROI methodology available on request; based on treatment cost per durable remission vs. projected long-term disability and health-system costs of chronic PTSD.

From first trials through national impact to worldwide reach.

Tap a stage to see what happens there.

Stage 3 - where we are now. MDMA for PTSD (Healing October 7) is in large-scale delivery across five hospitals. If group therapy proves non-inferior, one therapist team treats seven patients at once - and national implementation becomes possible.

Friend, you know someone in deep suffering. We know what might help. Let's talk.

We are building toward a future where safe, evidence-based psychedelic treatments are available to everyone who needs them - built here, and eventually everywhere. If this resonates with you, we would love a conversation about how you can be part of building something the world urgently needs.
